
REDMOND, WA – CSG attended the Baptie Channel Focus North America with Channel Focus Latin America Conference in La Joya, California May 3 – 4. We participated in interesting conversations and gained valuable insights from other channel leaders that have helped us better assess current channel concerns. This year, some of the most prominent channel concerns were optimizing partner communication and developing thorough, effective training and guidance materials to help partners transition to the cloud. Additionally, there were some other important issues, such as social media usage, the utilization of Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and deal registration. We are happy to have had the opportunity to speak with our knowledgeable peers and discuss these pressing channel issues.
Many of the sessions at the conference offered useful information and helped us better understand the current state of the technology channel industry. While we always have our fingers on the pulse of the channel by consistently working with vendors and partners, listening to presenters at the conference offered us a different perspective. It allowed us to glean important information that will assist us in developing even more intuitive and worthwhile products for our customers. We are always searching for input so we can maximize the effectiveness of our products and ultimately help clients generate additional channel revenue.
