
Channel Services Group (CSG) would like to introduce the people who provide leadership for our comprehensive, end-to-end channel management services and who have helped CSG achieve "One of the Best Companies to Work For" award by Seattle Business Magazine, three out of the last four years.
Jay Leon founded Channel Services Group in 1997. Under his leadership, CSG has processed more partner communications through its onshore and offshore call centers than any other global marketing services firm and has been recognized as one of Washington's Best Placed to Work in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. In addition to helping technology companies build and manage profitable channel partner relationships, Jay contributes to both local and national efforts to improve education in the United States through his involvement in Social Venture Partners, Emerald City Rotary and the League of Education Voters. Derek Anderson returned to CSG in 2006, after a four year sabbatical, to build the Special Projects Team. This team works closely with Client Services to launch new projects and services, while delivering the highest quality reporting and analytics to CSG clients. Promoted to Vice President of Operations in June of 2007, Derek resumes his previous role in overseeing the day to day delivery of CSG services. Derek brings to CSG over 17 years of upper-level management and entrepreneurial experience in the call center industry, application and web development, construction, architectural design and consulting. Derek joined CSG in 1999 as HR Manager, was promoted in 2000 to General Manager and became President in 2001. Prior to his first stint with CSG, and before returning in 2006, Derek ran his own business that he started at the age of 24, and has been involved in the startup or turnaround of several different companies.
As Director of Client Services, Ian manages our Program Management team, PMO, and our strategic client relationships. Valued for his thought leadership, Ian’s main focus is to ensure CSG delivers positive value and ROI to its clients. Ian brings over 13 years of experience in the Technology Industry to CSG. He has been acknowledged by many for successfully managing high value programs through effective team leadership. He has also managed key client relationships, and planned corporate direction as a member of executive strategy teams. Ian began his career with CSG in 2008 managing a high visibility new line of business and was promoted to Director in January 2010. Prior to CSG Ian worked at several ISV’s in a variety of management roles including Support, Sales, Operations, and Program Management. In his spare time Ian enjoys golf and spending time with his family. Ian has a strong aversion to Raccoons. A story only Ian can tell.
With 8 years of I.T. experience, James has built technology infrastructures for schools, retail establishments, and small - medium corporations. As our I.T. Director, He is responsible for the planning and implementation of core infrastructure improvements, including anticipation of current company needs. Working closely with all departments, James is able to assist CSG in integrating our technology with our business. In the past 4 years, James has taken a small business network/team, and built a thriving self aware systems infrastructure, with a team capable of supporting CSG Openline's cutting edge service offering. A mechanic, inventor, and motorsports fan, James is usually found restoring older BMW's in his spare time.
Kari has worked in the Human Resources field for the last 12 years, specializing in compensation, HRIS, employee relations, recruiting and project management. She has been with CSG since early 2006 and has focused on developing recruiting processes, compensation principles, business partnership and strategically aligning CSG’s incredible people with its business practices.
She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and her MBA from the University of Washington. You can find Kari most fall and winter weekends cheering on her beloved Oregon Ducks. She is an active member of SHRM.
Paula has been working in sales management or business development for over 15 years. The last six years of her career were spent in the IT industry with Mircosoft. Within the Microsoft OEM division, she worked with OEM partners on their marketing incentive programs. While in Microsoft Financing as a Senior Business Development Manager for North America, she drove integration within the SMSP channel and through Microsoft divisions. As an Area Sales Manager, Paula developed the Central Region in SMSP for Microsoft Financing. Prior to Microsoft, Paula was in the commercial finance industry and worked for Key Bank and GE Capital. Paula is a graduate of Washington State University and a devoted Cougar fan. Paula enjoys spending her free time with her family, going camping and vacationing, or at the park with their German Shepherd Tristin.
